BVR&PARTNERS with Marchin Investments BV, Pathfinder S.r.l., Zain Holding S.r.l. in the sale of 38,07% of Meridiana Fly S.p.A.’s share capital to the Aga Khan.
BVR&Partners advised Marchin Investments, Pathfinder and Zain Holding in the sale of their entire shareholding, equal to 38.71%, in the share capital of Meridiana Fly S.p.A. in favor of Meridiana S.p.A., a company indirectly controlled by His Highness, the Prince Aga Khan. The team of BVR&Partners who followed out the transaction is composed by the partners Gianbenso Borgognoni Vimercati and Fabrizio Iliceto and the senior associate Luigi Lombari. In July 2011, the Firm provided assistance in the framework of a complex transaction for the sale of Air Italy to Meridiana Fly and the contextual entrance of Marchin Investments, Pathdinder and Zain holding in the share capital of Meridiana Fly, by way of a share capital increase of the latter closed in July 2012.
