BVR & Partners with Helios S.r.l. in the acquisition of Sotov Corporation S.p.A.
BVR & Partners assisted Helios S.r.l. in the acquisition, from Alba S.p.A., of a 60% shareholding in Sotov Corporation S.p.A., a company leader in the brokerage of steel and forged steel. In the context of the transaction, Helios S.r.l., already owner of 40% of the share capital of Sotov Corporation S.p.A., also purchased the financial instruments issued by the Sotov Corporation S.p.A. and owned by Alba S.p.A. The BVR team, managed by the partner Roberto de Bonis, was composed also of the salary partner Fabio D’Esposito and the junior associate Marta Casati. Alba S.p.A. was assisted by Jones Day with the partner Massimo Tesei and the senior associate Carlo Mecella. Helios S.r.l. lenders were assisted by Gattai, Minoli e Agostinelli & Partners with a team managed by the partner Gaetano Carrello.
